Craigleith Provincial Park

Located at the basin of Georgian Bay, Craigleith campgrounds is a practical 'home base', if you want to explore the area.  Although horrified
upon arrival...at the sight of tent upon tent upon tent upon RV upon RV etc... (you get the point). At night, it was in fact the quietest campground we have EVER been to; No noisy, drunk students slurring loudly or blasting crap music- Mostly families and couples. Its perfect for sleeping and the beach is amazing- described as "rocky and not suitable for children"... the kids LOVED it (just had to wear crocs in water)- the water was warm and clean. The rocks were big and great for making Inukchuks,  beautiful beaches of shale.
The only complaint I had was off leash dogs shitting in my campsite.
Otherwise- Wonderful base; saw Blue mountain, Drive in movie double feature for cheap (though we were eaten alive by mosquitos in our convertable soft top jeep)
