Rock and Bye

Here is a photo of our new tent that we have been eager to try...
It was breezy last night so we were gently rocked to sleep. Now I know why babies like to be rocked to sleep. Low and behold, In the middle of the night the wind speed picked up and...

we were awoken feeling slightly disoriented, dizzy and nausious. We were startled by a loud 'crack' which instantly awoke us to being alert and oriented. Unfortunatly, the branch we had carefully chosen to hang our tent from snapped and our tent ( with us in it) became airborne; we went from feeling like baby birds in a nest to helpless wingless humans.... JUST KIDDING!!!! (this story is 100% fictional) Hope I caught your attention because I had to share this cool site; so many unique tents to choose from, this being one of my favorites. It must be intended for backyard or backcountry(or backyard) camping because I can't imagine an Ontario provincial park allowing you to hang your tent(s). One can only imagine the legalities involved! 'Crash... Thump....Ouch' Nevertheless, it's my favorite tent of all of these great designs Can't find any info on where to buy and what the damage would be.... http://www.boutique-homes.com/dispatches/cool-tents-for-chic-camping-vacations/ these our my other favorites: I-gloo Box: For winter camping, easy to carry & install. Portable (on a cart with wheels), Made of thick waterproof pockets linked together sticking band strong enough to withstand snowy storms. http://www.designbuzz.com/entry/i-gloobox-provides-safe-refuge-to-nomads-even-in-snowy-winters/ Opera Camper: I have never stayed in a camper but I would love to stay in this one! One word- DELUX! Starts off as a compact trailer, teak floors, walls made of high grade cotton, LED lighting, Mobile stove, BBQ, Hot & cold running water, ceramic toilet, espresso bar, enclosed veranda... Oh and did I mention heating !? http://been-seen.com/travel-blog/wheels-we-like/classy-camper Solar Concept Tent: Apart from the obvious flexible solar fabric (Outer shell has 3 solar glides that can be moved to maximize efficiency, Wireless Internet signal & charging pouch recharger(for any small portable device), Mobile phone can locate tent by making it light up http://newsroom.orange.co.uk/2009/06/22/orange-pitches-glastonbury-solar-concept-tent/ Sport Tent: (Green tent towards the end of list/photos): 2 min to pitch, 5 min to fold, blocks 80-95% UV rays, 4 person capacity http://www.decathlon.co.uk/seconds-family-41-tent-id_8171126.html
